Filming for New Moon has wrapped, and the Twilight stars have gone their separate ways until August. That said, we couldn't resist posting these just-released photos from the set in Italy. Robert Pattinson got his very own caption it a few weeks ago, but now it's Kristen's turn.

Red-Suited Extras Start to Appear in Montepulciano for New Moon
The faux St. Marcus Day Festival in New Moon, which will involve up to 1500 extras, has begun to ramp up. Extras in red garb have started appearing on the streets, as recent pics from TwilightersItalia show. They say–
Each one of them was clad in red. Hoods, robes, t-shirt, caps…everything was red! They couldn’t really say anyhing because the producers have told them that if they were caught they would be expelled from the set and nobody wants to lose the chance to be in the movie.
It’s said that this afternoon there was a little commotion and they think Robert Pattinson was there, but nobody would say that plainly. There are no pictures of him at the airport because he went out through a side exit allowed to the airport staff only.
Today the porsche crew finished working and, from what we understood, tomorrow Robert Pattinson himself will shoot some scene, maybe something related to Edward’s desperation before the Volturi’s verdict.
It won’t be Kristen Stewart to jump in the fountain but her stunt double, an Italian girl. Right now, Alan Cappelli, the stunt double for Robert Pattinson is waiting in his car to be called to set. We don’t know though what scene they’ll shoot.

Yesterday was Pattinson’s final day on the set of New Moon barring any crazy cataclysmic setback. They’ve had to postpone these scenes due to weather, now must rush him through the shoot to get him out on schedule. It’s supposed to be a beautiful day in Vancouver today. Which is perfect because – get ready for it Twi-hards – today they are shooting in the Meadow.
It’s a dreamy sequence. In the Meadow, Bella sees herself get old, looks like her grandma. And Edward wishes grandma happy birthday. Then they’re young together and lying in the field and looking at each other and it’s pretty.

Y por otro lado nos menciona que el dia de ayer fue el último día de trabajo para Robert en Vancouver.
Estuvieron filmando la escena del prado donde Bella se ve así misma envejeciendo como su abuela. Y Edward le desea a la abuela feliz cumpleaños. Y creo que no hace falta explicarles más...

On Friday night, the set of New Moon in New Westminster, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson filming a scene in which Kristen goes for a joyride on a motorcycle, then sees Robert/Edward appear as an apparition.I LOVE the shot of Kristen with her hair whipping in the wind and the expression on her face. Beautiful. Also, take note of her sitting on the ground while Robert is waiting for them to set up. Cute right? Saturday night, Pattinson and Stewart went to support his friend Sam Bradley who was performing at a charity gig. Before that though they were kind enough to stop and take photos with a fan called Martina (thanks Martina!). Also attaching photos sent from Stephanie, Drew, and Lisa from Seattle of Kristen during the show – thanks girls! Word is she and Pattinson were both ripped by the time they left, continuing on with Sam Bradley late late into the night/morning and recovering most of the day yesterday. Schedule is busy this week. More on that later.

Twi Fans: La filmacion en el set de la Casa de Bella empieza esta noche!
Filming will begin this evening at the new version of Bella’s House custom built as an exact replica of the house used in Twilight. The Now has an article about the number of fans–or as they say, “crazies”–converging on the set: The structure is nothing but a shell meant for exterior shots, but it requires around-the-clock security to keep rabid fans from doing damage to it. It has a chimney made of flimsy styrofoam, after all. Imported trees and rearranged telephone poles help make things look authentic, too. Filming at the site will begin tonight (Friday), the Now has learned. City-issued signs warn of road closures starting April 24. “I don’t like going to the film sets when they’re shooting,” [one woman from Burnaby visiting the house] said, “because there are too many crazies hiding in the trees and everywhere.” When filming starts in South Surrey, huge black screens will serve to block views of the action.
