SAN DIEGO — Taylor and Kristen sitting in a tree ... A-C-T-I-N-G?

Calling November's "New Moon" the one "Twilight" novel that "intimidated" her, Kristen Stewart knows that millions of fans will see the film in November to watch her make googly eyes at Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. But the most pleasant surprise of the sequel, she insists, will be watching the intense acting that the franchise stars had to employ to navigate Stephenie Meyer's complex love triangle.

In this exclusive interview, Kristen and Taylor talk to MTV about the Bella/Jacob relationship, some new scenes that were added to the script and the intense days on set that nearly "killed" KStew.

MTV: Kristen, in your opinion, how is the relationship between Bella and Jacob in "New Moon" different than the one between Edward and Bella in "Twilight"?

Kristen Stewart: It's such a different relationship; it's like entirely original.

MTV: It seems much more playful.

Stewart: Yeah, exactly. They're light; they actually have fun with each other. Edward and Bella are always so strange, you know?

Taylor Lautner: It's always so tense.

Stewart: And only he can bring her out of that rut. Like, she literally is going to die; she's going to stop eating and be done. And the only thing that brings her out of it is this lightness [Jacob] brings.

MTV: What is one of the main things you're eager for us to see when "New Moon" hits theaters in November?

Lautner: I think the biggest thing you learn is that I disappear for a while, and she starts going through a separate depression. You go into a depression — would you call it that? — when I leave.

Stewart: Oh my God, yeah.

Lautner: Then she comes back to discover that I'm a werewolf, so that's the big boom. Yeah, I get to transform into a werewolf a couple times, which is awesome.

MTV: What was the stunt work like in those scenes?

Lautner: Well, Jacob's thing is he actually can transform in midair. So I got to do these really cool stunts where I got to actually run and then they'd hook me up on wires and I'd jump up in the air and then I'd come to a jolting stop and have to hang there for a bit. That's what you saw in the trailer, actually. That was a lot of fun. I get to do a lot of cool stunts in this one.

Stewart: That cute, little, fuzzy wolf.

MTV: He is very huggable. Tell us about one scene that you read either in Stephenie Meyer's book or in Melissa Rosenberg's screenplay that you were like, "Man, that's going to be tough to pull off," and tell us how you were able to figure it out.

Stewart: "New Moon" is riddled with all of that. I think it's the one book in the series that I was intimidated by — in a good way. That's the best feeling to start a movie with. But probably, my favorite line in the book is when I have to say to [Jacob], "It's him; it's always been him!" Like, I have to say that. Yeah, it killed me, it killed me.

MTV: It was a tough day to shoot?

Stewart: Yeah, and just like everything in our movie, it's such a heightened version of reality. It's like, people don't just break up [in the "Twilight" films] — they break up and it literally kills you. It's not like you just say, "Oh, I'm really depressed and crying." Everything is supposed to be a fantasy version of that. So I always had a really hard time figuring out, "Am I doing enough? Do I look like I'm going to die?"

MTV: Yeah, it would be tough to be the most dramatic person in the world, but without being cheesy. And Taylor?

Lautner: ["New Moon"] is very complicated. There's a lot of heartbreak, there's a lot of things going on. Edward leaves at the beginning, she goes into this depression, I come to try and bring her out of it. Then I go through my own issues, and then she leaves me. It's all over the place, and there's a lot going on, and there's many of those scenes that you described.

MTV: Which was your favorite to shoot?

Lautner: My favorite one was — well, we call it the breakup scene — but it's the scene right after she sees me shirtless and I've cut off my hair, all different for the first time. I have to tell her that we can't be friends anymore.

Stewart: He attempts to break up with me — but it doesn't work out.

En esta entrevista exclusiva Kristen y Taylor hablan con MTV acerca de la relación de Bella y Jacob, algunas nuevas escenas que fueron añadidas al guion y los días intensos en el set que casi matan a KStew.

MTV: Kristen en tu opinión, como es de diferente la relación entre Bella y Jacob en New Moon y la de Edward y Bella en Twilight

Kristen Stewart: Es una relación muy diferente es totalmente original.

MTV: parece ser, mucho más juguetona?

KS: Si exacto, son ligeros ellos de hecho se divierten juntos. Edward y Bella siempre son muy extraño ya sabes?

Taylor Lautner: Siempre es muy tensa.

KS: y solo el puede sacarla de esa ruta. Ella literalmente va a morir. Ella dejara de comer y será todo. Y la única cosa que saca de eso es la luz(Jacob).

MTV: Cuale es una de las principales cosas que están ansiosos por que veamos en New Moon este Noviembre?

TL: Creo que la mayor cosa que aprenderás es que yo desaparezco por un tiempo y ella empieza a pasar por una depresión separada. Entras en un depresión- lo llamarías así?- cuando me voy.

KS: Oh mi dios, si.

TL: luego ella regresa para descubrir que soy un hombre lobo. Ese es la gran noticia. Si me transformo en un Hombre lobo un par de veces lo cual es asombroso.

MTV: Como fue el trabajo de dobles en esas escenas?

TL: bien pues la cosas es que él se puede transformar en medio del aire. Entonces hago estas cosas de stunts que son geniales en las cuales de hecho corro y ellos me conectan con cables y salto en el aire y después me detengo y tengo que colgar ahí por un rato. Eso es lo que vieron el tráiler de hecho, fue muy divertido, pude hacer muchas cosas geniales en esta.

KS: ese pequeño lindo, brumoso lobo

MTV: es el muy abrazable, dinos acerca de la escena que leyeron tanto en el libro de Stephenie como en el guion de Melissa y de la cual dijeron “Hombre, esto va a ser difícil de interpretarlo” y díganos como fueron capaces de descifrarlo.

KS:”New Moon” esta encrucijada de todo eso. Creo que es el único de los libros de la serie el cual me intimido – en el buen sentido. Ese es el mejor sentimiento para empezar una película. Pero probablemente mi línea favorita en el libro es cuando digo (Jacob) “el el, siempre ha sido el” tengo que decir eso, si eso me mato , me mato”

MTV: fue difícil de grabar?

KS: Si como todo en nuestra película. Es una versión tan intensificada de la realidad. Es como si la gente no solo rompiera (en los films de Twilight) – ellos rompen y literalmente eso te mata. No como si dijeras “oh estoy realmente deprimida y llorando” todo se supone que es una fantasía de eso. Entonces todo es siempre tiene que ser una fantasía de eso. Siempre tuve un tiempo difícil al trata de descifrar eso “estoy haciendo lo suficiente? Luzco como si fuera a morir?”

MTV: si sería difícil ser la persona más dramática en el mundo pero sin ser vulgar y Taylor?

TL: (“New Moon”) es muy complicada. Hay mucho dolor, y pasan muchas cosas. Edward se va en el principio, ella se deprime, yo llego y trato de sacarla de eso, después paso por mis propios problemas y después ella me deja. Esta por todos lados, y hay muchas cosas pasando, y hay muchas escenas de las que describiste.

MTV: Que fue lo que más te gusto al grabar?

TL: My favorita fue – bueno loa llamamos la escena del rompimiento- pero es exactamente después de que ella me ve sin camisa y me corte mi pelo, todo es diferente por primera vez, tengo que decirle que ya no podemos ser amigos.

KS: El trata de romper conmigo pero no funciona.

La verdad se me hace raro eso del rompimiento de B/J mm yo no lo llamaria rompimiento, para mi no es muy importante.. incluso debo decir que me tenia sin cuidado que el ya no fuera su amigo.....pero bueno creo que esto es por que me dejo influenciar por mi odio hacia Team Jacob... en fin EXTRAÑO LOS TWILIGHT TUESDAY!!!:(
