Unlikely 'Twilight' Celebrity Fans Rave About The Film
Will Ferrell, Denzel Washington, Kings of Leon are all fans.


The franchise can already count millions of screaming girls as devotees, but "Twilight" can add some Hollywood heavyweights to its list of superfans. In a Movie Awards night packed with many unexpected moments, some unlikely celebrity Twilighters were also exposed. From Denzel Washington to Will Ferrell, it looks like just about everyone has "Twilight" fever.

"When Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson ... were so close and the whole auditorium was like, 'Are they gonna? Are they gonna?' Then they didn't! But I was, like, dying to see them kiss." Pratt gushed on her way to the show's afterparty.
And you may have been a little confused when Will Ferrell was seen clapping enthusiastically during the now-infamous almost-kiss, but MTV News got the inside scoop: Ferrell is a closet Twilighter.
When the comedian was asked if he was a fan of the movie, he gave a true-to-form quick response. "Obviously," he said. "It's a gimme. You look at me, you're like Twiiii-liiight," Ferrell joked. And as for what "Twilight" team the "Land of the Lost" star supports? "I'm kinda Team Edward, I'm kinda Team Jim, I'm kinda Team ... Stanley."
OK, so Ferrell may not know all the movie's characters, but he did go on to profess his love for everyone's favorite brooding vampire. Ferrell confessed he tried [unsuccessfully] to meet Pattinson all night. "He [kept] going, 'Not now, not a good time.' " (We're not sure how serious he was about all this!)
One celeb that did get to meet the heartthrob backstage was Abigail Breslin. The "Little Miss Sunshine" star officially became the envy of teenage girls everywhere and even got to shake Pattinson's hand. The star jumped up and down in excitement after the encounter.
And finally, Kings of Leon may have been busy giving the crowd a rocking performance onstage, but backstage they showed love for the Best Movie winner.
"I really liked 'Twilight' a lot," singer Caleb Followill told MTV News. "It was a cool, generational kind of movie. I thought it was really pretty."

Mtv News hablo con Washington y su hija, Olivia, que expresó su amor por el film, y por supuesto, su amor por Robert Pattinson. Olivia dijo que “Crepúsculo” es realmente buena y les aseguro a todos que no es solamente una película para chicas. Mientras que Washington admitido que todavía no ha visto la película pero prometió que una noche la iba a ver con su hija. “La veremos juntos cuando nos vayamos de vacaciones”, dijo el legendario actor.
Las estrellas de “High School Musical” Zac Efron y Vanessa Hudgens podrán haber competido con Pattinson y Kristen Stewart en la categoría a “Mejor Beso”, pero Efron dejo de lado cualquier rivalidad y aclamó a “Crepúsculo” durante la alfombra roja diciendo que era una “película excepcional” y que el beso de Edward y Bella fue un “beso asombroso”.Ese beso tambien sacó la fanática que tiene por dentro Stephanie Pratt. Luego del show, Pratt, la estrella de “Hills”, dijo que el discurso de aceptación por el “Mejor Beso” fue su momento favorito de la noche, pero no pudo esconder su decepcion cuando Rob y Kristen no se dieron un beso de verdad.

Cuando se le pregunto al comediante si era un fan de la película, el dio una rápida respuesta: “Obviamente”, dijo el. “Está de más decirlo. Me miras y es como decir ¡Creppppússssculo!”, broméo Ferrel. Y con respecto a que Team pertenecía el actor…”Soy Team Edward, también Team Jim, Team…Stanley”. Bueno, puede ser que Ferrel no conozca todos los personajes de la película pero si manifestó su amor por el vampiro elegido por todos. Ferrel confesó haber tratado (sin éxito) de conocer a Pattinson durante toda la noche. “El seguía yendose y diciendo 'No ahora' o 'Ahora no es un buen momento'”.

Una celebridad que si pudo conocer al rompecorzones durante el backstage fue Abigail Breslin. La estrella de “Pequeña Miss Sunshine” se confirtió oficialmente en la envidia de las adolescentes de todo al mundo y ensima pudo darle la mano a Pattinson. La estrella reportó haber saltado entusiasmadamente luego del encuentro.

Y finalmente, Kings of Leon, pudieron haber estado ocupados haciendo rockear al publico en el escenario, pero tras los bastidores, ellos demostraron su amor por la pelicula ganadora a “Mejor Pelicula”. “Realmente me gusto Crepúsculo….y mucho”, conto el cantante Caleb. “Es una película generacional bastante buena. Creo que es muy linda”.
